Done!

I've come a long way since this.

If you were to take this thing apart, you would find 4 lids of 2 different sizes; 5 zippers; 2 covered buttons; some small bits of plastic-cut in 2 different shapes; a push-on light; probably some blood-besides all the main seams, almost everything was sewn by hand (including all 5 zippers, and all 4 lids) and I poked myself a few times; definitely some sweat; about 65 inches of elastic; yards of vinyl, muslin, and thread, of course; several inches of bias tape; enough batting to make a child-size blanket; enough pantyhose to cover both of my knobs; 2 pairs of leggings; some cardboard; and some scotch tape.

Making costumes is serious business.

This is exactly the type of project I would start, but would end up in a basket at the back of the sewing closet. Congrats on not only finishing it, but making it amazing!
The light is a great touch, by the way...

Unbelievable! At first, I thought you had painted your whole body gold, what a great fit. You must enter this into as many contests as possible, this is incredibly cool.
